Former Westinsure member joins rival network
The Purple Partnership has signed its 50th member, former Westinsure broker, Fletcher Smith Insurances.
The Sheffield-based broker had been part of the Westinsure network for a number of years but a change in management last year led to it reviewing its position.
Wayne Craven, director at Fletcher Smith, explained: "We're fiercely independent but great believers in what a good network can offer us. This business had been part of a network for a number of years prior to us acquiring control last year and, having decided to review our position, we very much liked what Purple has to offer.
