Amanda Blanc leaves Towergate for Axa
Axa UK has appointed Amanda Blanc as CEO of its commercial lines business which includes its distribution arm, Bluefin.
Blanc, will report directly to Paul Evans, group chief executive of Axa UK, and will become a member of the Axa UK Executive committee and board member.
Blanc joins from Towergate where she is currently deputy group CEO.
Prior to joining Towergate Blanc held a number of roles within the insurance industry beginning at commercial union in 1989 where she became the first woman to be appointed a regional manager of underwriting and sales. She followed this with senior distribution and customer
