County Insurance relocates for growth

Governments now play a vital role in seed funding

Insurance broker County Insurance has officially opened its new office in Crewe.

The office relocation forms part of the company's growth plans. When it was founded in 2003, the staff headcount was seven, and it now employs over 40 staff in Crewe, with a further 15 staff at its Southport branch. County Insurance aims to expand this to over 100 staff within the next two years.

County Insurance said that this year, it is on track to provide £18m in insurance premiums and has 10,000 customers nationally.

Crewe and Nantwich MP Edward Timpson, who opened the premises, said:
