A fifth of CII members fear redundancy
The Chartered Insurance Institutes's (CII) annual skills survey shows that 21% of members were worried about losing their job, compared with 26% in 2009.
Some 46% felt current economic conditions would not lead to them losing their job, compared with 37% in 2009.
Employer confidence about job security and the negative impact of difficult economic conditions appears to have improved, but there remains significant concern about the UK economy’s ability to compete effectively in the longer term on a global scale.
