Groupama completes claims consolidation with four senior appointments
Four appointments have been made as Groupama completes the centralisation of commercial and personal claims to its claims centre in Port Solent, Portsmouth.
The planned consolidation of its claims operations, involving the phased closure of the commercial claims site in Borehamwood, was announced in January this year.
Phil Bird, claims director, said he was pleased that Groupama had found roles for almost half of the people previously employed at Borehamwood.
"By centralising our operations to one site we are creating a really slick and sustainable claims function in a way we could not have achieved with separate commercial and personal lines claims
