NIG's personal lines exit to impact around 3,000 brokers

About 3,000 brokers will be affected by NIG's decision to exit the personal lines market and focus solely on commercial business.

A spokeswoman for NIG said the move impacted 280 sales and service staff but that any potential headcount changes had yet to be decided, adding that a consultation period of up to 90 days had begun.
