BLG scoops Halliwells' insurance partners
Barlow Lyde & Gilbert (BLG) has bolstered its insurance practice with the former Halliwells partners joining the firm in Manchester.
The 17 partners will join with immediate effect. A significant number of other lawyers and support staff will also move to BLG.
The main focus of the work of the new team is on catastrophic injury, fraud, regulatory and public sector work. They will integrate with BLG's existing casualty and healthcare team, which already has a presence in Manchester following BLG's establishment of an office in the city in 2009.
