Health news: Medical database add-on gives brokers PMI edge
Brokers looking to stand out in the private medical insurance (PMI) arena can now offer an add-on product independently from insurers.
Best Doctors' global database comprises 50,000 medical specialists who have been nominated by other doctors as the best in the world.
The offering scans the database to find the most appropriate doctor for the condition in question, forwards the patient's details following which the chosen expert writes a report that the patient can then take to their own doctor. Best Doctors' own research found that when patients brought back the report to their GP, treatment was modified 63% of the time and
