AA sees road claims double
Snow storms lead to spike in claims
The AA received over 500 claims yesterday, almost twice as many as a normal winter Monday, as snow swept the country.
The busiest day of 2009 so far was on 2 February when the last widespread snow fell. Then, just over 800 claims were taken.
