Specialist carriers come top in broker satisfaction survey

Brokers are increasingly turning to smaller, niche insurers and underwriting agencies as traditional composites fail to deliver the service brokers demand, according to an in-depth survey into insurer service levels.

Insurance 360 - the new industry insight unit established by Incisive Media, publisher of Insurance Age, Professional Broking and Post - conducted a study of commercial insurers' service to UK brokers and their clients.

Canvassing the opinions of 630 brokers, the study found that
