QBE boosts Manchester office

The insurer has strengthened its Manchester team with hires from NIG, Towergate and Allianz

QBE has expanded its Manchester office with six appointments from the local insurance market into underwriting roles across its commercial portfolio.

The insurer said the new team will join Antony Broome, commercial manager of the QBE’s Manchester office, and his 31-strong force to provide brokers and their clients with bespoke insurance solutions from its multi-line casualty, motor, property, professional indemnity (PI) and trade credit offering.
