QBE poaches COO from Brit

QBE has appointed Kathy Lisson from Brit Insurance as its new chief operating officer (COO).

Ms Lisson has taken up the new role after spending four years as the COO of Brit. As part of her new position, Ms Lisson will oversee QBE's claims, IT and operational support functions throughout Europe.

The hire is part of a reorganization of QBE's board, with John Neal taking up the position of chief underwriting officer.
