The renewal rights for Navigator's regional marine and engineering portfolio have been acquired by insurer RSA. The deal was concluded in June following Navigator's announcement that it was withdrawing from the market. Barry McConway, director of marine at RSA, explained that the acquisition would enable the insurer to demonstrate its technical ability and appetite to service that type of portfolio.
