Insurer Axa has sounded the alarm to over a million small- andmedium-sized enterprise (SME) owners whom it believes are badlyunderinsured again the consequences of flooding and fire damage.
The company has published a study that suggests 1,121,650 small businessesmay not be adequately protected, despite widespread publicity over thethreat of flooding, increases in property premiums, and pressure on firmsto set up risk management schemes to mitigate price hikes.
