
Industry must respond now to new EU environmental directive
The insurance industry has been warned that it must get to grips with the latest European Union environmental directive that came into force last month, or face severe fines or liabilities.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive has given producers and retailers responsibility for the treatment, recovery and recycling of waste materials.
