The Moorhouse Group has said it will spend up to £5m buying brokers and books of SME business to enter the UK top 50 within the next three years. The Welsh brokerage has started targeting specialist brokers and books ranging from £500,000-£10m gross written premium, and includes commercial vehicle and personal lines. Chairman Lyndon Wood said the acquisitions could lead to a boost in jobs at Moorhouse's Caerphilly head office, at which the new building, to be completed in September this year
