Quinn Direct has announced a pre tax profit of £61m in the six-month period to the end of June 2005, an increase of 29% over the first half of 2004. Its written premium income increased by 30% to £218m over the same period. In addition, Quinn's customer base has crossed the 300,000 mark in this period. The company stated that while capitalising on the strong results for the first half of the year, the next six months would see the company focus on broadening the commercial liability and property

Applied updates on commercial push
