Brit Insurance has promised that it will establish a significant position in the UK market in the next three to four years.
Simon Cooter, distribution director, UK division, Brit - who joined the insurer in March from Royal & Sun Alliance - said: "I have seen 120 brokers in the first three months in the role, and this has been invaluable. As to be expected, brokers are crying out to trade with insurers that have skilled and experienced underwriters that want to trade with them.
