Moneysupermarket insurance boss quits

The director of insurance at Moneysupermarket.com has quit the aggregator.

Richard Mason has been with Moneysupermarket.com since inception having joined the online aggregators' parent company Mortgage 2000 in 2000, just before the Moneysupermarket brand was established. Mr Mason took charge of the insurance business in 2003.

Formerly he was controller of commercial lending at the Britannia Building Society, where he helped set up subsidiary intermediary lender Verso It was here he met Moneysupermarket’s founder Simon Nixon who persuaded him to work for the business
