More and more brokers are heading down the commercial lines route as the personal lines sector becomes more commoditised. However, commercial lines brokers also face similar challenges as some organisations, such as Lloyds TSB General Insurance, have announced that they will seek to gain market share in the smaller end of the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) business.
