In 2002, Black Country broker KGJ made a decision to move from what it considered to be the third division of the broking world to the premiership. Transforming itself from a predominantly personal lines specialist under fire from direct writers, KGJ turned its focus to business insurance, building on its expertise in high-risk liability and manufacturing trades.
By 2006 KGJ had grown by 600% to control almost £30m in premiums and is now one of the top 35 independent brokers
