Large-scale personal lines brokers have received a boost in the
British Insurance Brokers' Association, with the board appointment of
Andrew Briscoe, managing director of AA Insurance Services. The AA has
nearly 1 million motor insurance customers and around 700,000 home
insurance customers. Mr Briscoe said: "BIBA brings together the views of
brokers throughout the industry and helps to present one influential voice
on behalf of this market, especially in key areas of change such as
regulation."
