Norwich Union and broker-only insurer MMA have both announced changesto their travel products this summer.
NU has closed its travel and leisure business unit in Croydon, which
provides travel insurance as schemes business to the travel trade. No new
arrangements will be entered into from 7 June and existing contracts will
be managed individually.
About 40 members of staff have been made redundant and 20 intermediaries
will be affected, all of whom will be dealt with on an individual
basis.
