The RAC has reported an increase in revenue of 1% to £1.526bn, reflecting the impact of disposals. Profit before goodwill amortisation, exceptional items and tax grew by 24% to £86.7m.
RAC's new broker panel business for motor insurance, RAC Insure, claims to have overcome the operational difficulties experienced in the first half of the year and is said to be making steady progress.
RAC Legal Services saw revenues grow 27% to £10.3m and policyholders increase by 18% to 2.1m.
