Brokers must remind holiday makers to get cover for wintersportsbreaks, says travel insurer Primary Direct. It has found one in 20 skiers
does not take out travel insurance, while one in 10 who go skiing needs
medical assistance following an injury or accident. Tim Berry, managing
director of Primary Direct, said: "We repatriate over 3000 people a year
from all over the world and without travel insurance these people would be
stranded or desperately out of pocket."
