Lord Levene, chairman of Lloyd's, has urged business leaders to put risk management at the heart of the boardroom agenda. Speaking at the World Affair Council in San Francisco, Levene warned of a new era of global risks that threaten corporations, including business interruption costs, corporate fraud and increased liability claims. He added: "Looking ahead ten years, the most successful, least crisis-prone businesses will be those whose boards have shown firm resolve and taken decisive action
