The British Insurance Brokers' Association is meeting this month to
decide the format of its new Information Technology Forum.


BIBA plans to appoint technology experts from within the insurance
industry to ensure brokers get up-to-date advice on the latest software.
It also hopes to appoint a marketing consultant to survey brokers' use of
technology.


The existing IT Forum is being phased out following the loss of chairman
David Williams. The new Forum will be formally constituted with a rotating
mem
