Norwich Union has replaced Royal and SunAlliance on Primary General and Rural Insurance's underwriting panel. The three year binding authority deal was signed in April 2006 and involved Axa taking 62% of a provision of £480m of gross written premium capacity and RSA 34%, with Primary underwriting the rest. It brought together the binding authorities of PBS, Rural Insurance, ATD General, Online Underwriting and Europea.
