Rapidly expanding intermediary The Smart and Cook Group has acquiredthe general and financial services business of Newcastle-based Middleton &
Co.
The staff of Middleton & Co, including the principle and founder of the
company Dennis Middleton, has joined Smart and Cook in its Blackfriars
Court office.
Smart and Cook has had a presence in Newcastle since November 1999, but
moved into the larger Blackfriars Court offices in April 2001.
Smart and Cook has nine offices, following the opening of
