Amanda Blanc, newly appointed distribution and customer services director of Groupama Insurances, plans to announce a new company-wide distribution plan in February.
Blanc, who joined Groupama on 10 December, hopes to get more of her account managers on the road so that they can talk to intermediaries face to face.
She also hopes to boost Groupama's electronic trading, as she believes extranets remove much of the "background noise" in insurer/ broker relationships.
