For many of the UK's 6.2 million disabled people, finding a
comprehensive travel insurance package which does not cost the equivalent
of another holiday is almost impossible.


Contrary to popular belief, being disabled does not erode a person's
appetite for travel. The disabled traveller is keen to visit the same
destinations and participate in the same activities as their able-bodied
friends. However, being disabled does mean that the person has a greater
awareness of certain aspects of their life
