For many of the UK's 6.2 million disabled people, finding acomprehensive travel insurance package which does not cost the equivalent
of another holiday is almost impossible.
Contrary to popular belief, being disabled does not erode a person's
appetite for travel. The disabled traveller is keen to visit the same
destinations and participate in the same activities as their able-bodied
friends. However, being disabled does mean that the person has a greater
awareness of certain aspects of their life
