The new chief executive of the British Insurance Brokers' Association is Eric Galbraith, former managing director of Hill House Hammond. Galbraith, who took up his post on 3 November, has 35 years' experience in the insurance market. Hamish Ritchie, chairman of BIBA, said: "Eric was the board's unanimous choice for the job. He is well known and is passionately committed to the insurance broking business."
