The Financial Services Authority may bring in rules for insurersregarding service standards, after brokers raised strong concerns about
renewal period notice during consultation.
Speaking at the conference, FSA head of policy for the high-street firms
division Dr Eleanor Linton said: "We are considering placing standards on
this but do not know what approach to take. For example, do we set x
number of days?"
