Lewes-based insurance provider Berkeley Alexander has updated its income protection policy SafetyNet to include a £60 000 cushion against unemployment.The £60 000 is tax free and would be paid on a monthly benefit of up to £2500 for a maximum of 24 months. SafetyNet is underwritten at Lloyd's and brokers earn 25% commission on all premiums paid.
