British Equestrian Insurance Brokers has teamed up with weather risk
insurers Weather Direct to enhance cover for organisers of equestrian
events, race meetings and point-to-points.


Cover includes abandonment due to state of ground, non-appearance of key
personalities and risk of infection between animals. Weather Direct uses
rainfall figures going back 30 years to assess the risk of adverse weather
in the UK by postcode.
