Lloyd's has confirmed it has received two requests for information from the US Securities and Exchanges Commission and the US Attorney's Office. A spokeswoman said: "This is not the office of Eliot Spitzer. Information is being sought that relates to parties other than Lloyd's, relating to finite reinsurance contracts. This is not directed at Lloyd's, they are searching for information on other parties."
