Accountants Mazars' second annual Insurance Broker Industry report has found that 52% of brokers will not consider a merger.

The survey of 217 chief executives, directors and senior managers at UK brokers, conducted in association with the British Insurance Brokers' Association, also revealed that joining a network is not a popular option, with 57% of respondents refusing to consider joining one.
