Marsh has secured a deal to place approximately £500m worth of solicitors' professional indemnity insurance for LawNet's 5000 members, following the dissolution of the Solicitor's Indemnity Fund.The scheme, which will be the largest block of affinity business in this sector, will come into effect in September. Marsh has yet to decide on an underwriter.
Marsh and LawNet are confident they can get cheaper premiums than were available under SIF for primary cover by using the open market, LawNet
