Online insurance intermediary its4me says the insurance industry is among the worst e-commerce service providers.
Its4me's survey included high-profile providers such as Direct Line, Eagle Star Direct, Screentrade, Admiral, Inspop and NU Direct. These companies took, on average, between 11.6 hours and 16.7 hours to respond to customer enquiries, with the slowest response time 45.3 hours.
