Berkeley Alexander has updated its income protection policy SafetyNet
to include a £60,000 cushion against unemployment. The £60,000 is tax free
and would be paid on a monthly benefit of up to £2500 for a maximum of 24
months. SafetyNet is underwritten at Lloyd's and brokers earn 25%
commission on all premiums paid. Ted York, managing director of Berkeley
Alexander, said: "Don't wait for unemployment to rise. Contact your
clients now and offer 24 months income protection before it's too
late."
