Groupama has confirmed it will offer cover to landlords who accept
asylum seekers and are insured by tenancy scheme Homelet, while warning
some adjustments to premium and policy cover may have to be made. The move
follows reports that Homelet, administered through broker Hanover Park,
had written to policyholders at renewal, warning it was unable to provide
cover for properties occupied or likely to be occupied by asylum
seekers.
