BIBA has put together a credit insurance scheme for its members,designed to help non-specialists place more business in this market.
Underwritten by NCM Credit Insurance, and administered by broker PG Finch,
Bad Debt Protection is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, and is
written on a whole-turnover basis. Minimum premium is set at £2500 and the
contract is non-declarable. Brokers will be paid annual commission of 7%
on premiums that are expected to average at £7500.
