The directors of failed broker Fabien Risk Services are facing the threat of legal action.

Lloyd Biscoe, an insolvency practitioner of liquidator Begbies Traynor, said a three-strong creditors' committee, including one member representing a broker who was the principal creditor, had pressed him to investigate the possibility of legal action to recover monies owed. However, he said an investigation into the actions of the directors, due to be filed in six months' time to the Department of Trade
