The British Insurance Brokers' Association is concerned about the lack of registrations to the Financial Services Authority from secondary intermediaries.
The FSA has received almost 9900 registrations for authorisation from mortgage and insurance brokers. Less than 1000 come from secondary intermediaries such as motor dealers, hire and leasing firms, and retailers.
