The joint provisional liquidators of Independent Insurance haveformed a 100% owned subsidiary of Independent, called Aurora Corporate
Services.
All staff currently employed by Independent will move to Aurora, which
will provide run-off services to Independent.
Ken Blanc, formerly from Commercial Union and head of Independent's
Cheadle operation at the time of the provisional liquidation, will be
chief executive of the company. The chairman of the Association of Run-off
Companies, David McGuigan
