Before the announcement of the full results in March, Groupama has released a statement regarding activity across the group last year. In the UK, premium income was EUR605m (£407m), an increase of 20% compared with 2005. The increase included the acquisition of Clinicare in October 2005 and of 8.6% on a like-for-like basis.
According to Groupama, the inclusion of Clinicare and the strategic repositioning in the small to medium-sized business market helped to drive a 19.7% increase in life and
