The Financial Services Authority has appointed Patrick Snowball, group executive director at Aviva, to the Financial Services Practitioner Panel. He will represent the general insurance sector. The FSPP is a statutory body that represents the interests of practitioners within the regulatory framework, principally by ensuring the FSA takes account of the views and concerns of regulated firms in the development of regulatory policy and in its operation generally.
