Axa revamps mid-market manufacturing product

New offering includes a £1m public liability clean-up cost cover as standard and up to £10,000 for recalibration of damaged production equipment.

Axa has refreshed its mid-market manufacturing product by adding new limits and expanding its cover.

The insurer stated that the move followed the publication of a report that underlined the struggle mid-market manufacturers faced when buying insurance.

Many respondents to the provider’s Confidence or crisis: Sentiment whitepaper admitted to feeling overwhelmed by the lack of clear policy wording and being unsure about what their cover included and excluded.
