Products: Indemnity Risk Solutions offers solicitors’ PI policy ahead of market shake-up

Indemnity Risk Solutions (IRS) is offering a two-year professional indemnity (PI) policy for solicitors ahead of the market’s “biggest shake-up in a decade”.

IRS said the 24-month period will provide small and medium-sized firms with “peace of mind” with the assigned risk pool set to end in 2013. The insurer also said that the policy would be more customer focused, with the longer period of cover allowing it to work more closely with firms.

Paul Lawrence, IRS managing director, said: “The introduction of a two-year PI policy will enable our customers to focus on their cases, not on the worry of renewing their insurance.”
