Das UK hopes for industry-wide support to go beyond £25,000 fundraising target

Insurance Cares: Insurance Age meets Das UK's David Swigciski ahead of the Ride Across Britain challenge, where a team of ten insurance professionals will raise money for Insurance United Against Dementia and the Alzheimer’s Society.

As the Das UK team is busy training ahead of the Ride Across Britain challenge, director of client services David Swigciski has stated he hopes to see industry-wide participation to raise money in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society and Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD).

Swigciski told Insurance Age that the idea for the charity bike ride came after he was inspired by the InsureTrek18 initiative, where a number of high profile industry figures completed a three-day trek of the Mont Blanc

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin

Aviva is committed to pushing on with an “absolute focus on customer” and will continue “doubling down”, David Martin, managing director for UK commercial and chief distribution officer, told Insurance Age as he teased a “major new proposition” pencilled in for the end of the third quarter will catch brokers’ eyes.
